Coir

Coir Fiber is an excellent potting medium for starting seeds and potting plants. A by-product of the coconut harvest, coir fiber is a renewable resource. It holds 10 times its weight in water and does not shed water like peat moss.

Coir fiber is compressed approximately 5:1 into blocks. Simply soak with water for 10-20 minutes to expand to usable density.

Neutral to slightly acidic, pH is 5.2 to 6.8. Weed and pathogen free, it resists bacterial mold and fungal growth.
